Bacca Shanghai News: Lake Okoboji Pearl Party Benefits Local Bike Trails

On a beautiful July evening on Lake Okoboji in Iowa, friends got together for a pink flamingo and summer cocktail themed pearl party! Bacca Shanghai Pearls raised $1,000 for the Dickinson County Trails to continue the building of bike trails around the lake.

We incorporated our host’s kitchen and the screened-in porch to display our latest pearl jewelry creations. Everyone mingled inside and out and shopped throughout the evening. (Love that our greeting Pig is wearing our black freshwater pearls!!)

Layer, layer, layer!! A woman can never be wear too many pearls. Seen here are a few of our favorites: the 96″ Freshwater Rope is essential in starting to layer your pearls. Top off the look with the Mini, which gives the look of lots of different strands of pearls in one 18″ necklace!
Thanks to Susie, Sherry, Charlene, Sarah, and Sally for helping to make this a fantastic party!

Thanks, ladies, and to Caroline and Julya for your support of the Iowa Great Lakes Trails. It looked like you all had a great time at the party, and we’re honored that you chose us to receive this donation. Much appreciated!
