Bridal Jewelry
Both Julya and I were married within the last two years. Having our own Pearl jewelry business, there was no question what kind of jewelry we would wear… But it did spark our interest – what kind of pearl jewelry was out there if we didn’t have hundreds and thousands of pearls to pick from? After doing a little Internet searching, we were, quite honestly, horrified. We found two options. On one hand, Tiffany’s and Gumps – gorgeous – but GOOD lord, should we spend our entire wedding budget on jewelry alone? No. On the other hand, crappy glass pearl jewelry set on nickel-laden chains and earring posts. Nothing quite like walking down the aisle with a green ear, right? Not quite. And I’m sorry, but pearls are CLASSIC – why spend money on something that will be in style forever but won’t actually hold up beyond your wedding day?
As our business has grown, we’ve had more and more brides come to us looking for jewelry for their wedding. Even if they don’t want to wear pearls themselves, they’re buying gifts for bridesmaids and other members of the wedding party (especially mother of the bride and mother of the groom – can you think of a better way to say thank you?). There isn’t another type of jewelry out there would more appropriately honor a wedding. And with our pearls, you know you can count on them being a reminder of that important day forever.
